So I didn't know if I was going to gain or lose or neither on the cruise. So I weighed myself this morning and I was down 2 lbs from the last time I weighed myself. It must've been all those stairs we walked! By the end of the week I could hardly stand them! Now, I think there's probably only 2 readers of this blog so I'm going to be open about me having a baby! We're really excited! Dan and I haven't told all our friends/works yet but we will soon.
With "the news" out in the open it's pretty obviously that my "gettin' in shape" blog will take a change of face for the next several months. So here's the new plan:
1. Do cardio 3 times a week for at least 30 min
2. Eat healthy foods, less sweets/preservatives
3. Drink lots of water-aim for 60 ounces or more
That's it. Any more ideas? Let me know! I hope you all are doing good with your body plans and that the cruise didn't result in any setbacks!

Exercise?
Okay, so today I went for a 30 minute walk with Sasha and we even did a little jog down a couple streets. It felt good to get out and get around. The past few days I haven't felt very good and so I've just been taking it easy. I'm just getting over another cold that I've had all week, well, since Monday and it hasn't been fun. I want to be over this soon so that I feel great for the cruise! So, I guess the point of this post is that I haven't been exercising but I want to start again. Maybe I'll exercise again tomorrow!

Ok, so I said I lost 1 1/2 lbs but I'm back up it again. So I guess technically I haven't lost any weight for the past few weeks. That's okay. I'm changing my food and work-outs from now on and will not be concentrating so much on how much I weigh but on food choices, and workouts. Hopefully I'll keep fit and still look great for the cruise in 1 1/2 weeks!!! You guys are awesome!!

Meal Timing
So, I want sort of time my meals so that I'm eating throughout the day. I want to keep my blood sugar at a regular level so that I don't get too hungry at times. So here's the plan:
7:00-Breakfast
10:00-Snack
1:00-lunch
4:00-Snack
7:00-Dinner
10:00-Snack (if needed)
So, I think this is a good plan.
Here's a meal plan I was thinking:
B-oatmeal with fresh fruit(or thawed frozen fruit), 1 c milk
S- string cheese with 10 triscuit crackers
L-Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo (just a little), apple, 1 carrot (sliced)
S-Yogurt, 1 c veggies
D- 1 c rice, 1 c veggies, 3 oz lean meat
What do you guys think?
